Seems to me that after all the sadness of ANZAC Day, see:
Tribute to our ANZAC Diggers
The Solitary Battlefield
The ANZACS and the Vietnam War
it’s time for some fun and laughter.
My three brothers and I enjoyed many of the crazy songs of the 1950’s. Sharing one of my favourites and remembering that my brother John did a real cool drawing of “The Purple Peope Eater”. Until seeing John’s drawing I thought this crazy “people eater” only ate purple people so I was safe 🙂 Enjoy…

Thanks for this amusing reminder of the 60s…lightens the mood. Peter had one of those big purple Falcons in the 80s so we called it Moby Grape. Thought association at work 😉
Great post! I hadn’t thought of this song in years.
G’day Pauline and Sheryl… It was either this or “The Witchdoctor” 🙂 … glad you both enjoyed it. Cheers…
It could have been polka-dot bikini:-)

Great, almost catchy. Don’t think I have heard it before, but I suspect I might be “hearing” again later. Definely catchy! Lol
You’re right about it being “catchy” Julie … I haven’t been able to get it out of my head for about 60years 🙂 … glad you enjoyed it.
Definitely catching spent this morning working on something and all the while humming that tune!
